San Francisco, Calif. - December 28, 2020 - Coldago Research, an independent market research and analysis firm, releases today the December 2020 edition representing the 8th Storage Unicorn report.

This bi-annual report lists 13 companies as 2 of them - Actifio and Datrium - have been removed from the 7th edition published last June. In details, Actifio and Datrium were acquired respectively by Google early December and VMware in July.

 

As a reminder a company reaches the unicorn level when its valuation passes the $1 billion.

 

Thirteen companies belong to this list, in alphabetic order: Acronis, Barracuda Networks,  Cohesity, DDN, Druva, Infinidat, Kaseya, Nasuni, Qumulo, Rubrik, VAST Data, Veeam Software and Veritas Technologies.
